This packet will plant approximately a 9 foot row. Avoid working around beans when wet since this may spread diseases. When weeding, hoe gently because beans are shallow-rooted. Do not mulch plants until they have been thinned. Along a trellis, sow a seed every 3 inches when soil is warm. Soaking seeds overnight in water just before planting will speed germination.
