Bean Seeds Tendergreen Ferry-Morse 1430

Dependable producer over a long season. The long, smooth, string-less pods are tender and at their best for the table when 5 to 6 inches long. Disease resistant. High in vitamins A, B, and C. This packet will plant approximately a 12 foot row. Avoid working around beans when wet; this may spread diseases. When weeding, hoe gently because beans are shallow-rooted. Mulch plants only after thinning. Sow seed when soil is warm and all danger of frost is past. Plant 2 seeds every 4 inches. Soaking overnight before planting will speed germination. Thin to 1 plant every 4 inches when plants have 4 leaves. Pick early and often to encourage production. Sow every 2 weeks until 8 weeks before fall frost.
